DJ and producer AC Slater is quickly gaining notoriety for cultivating a heavy bass sound and breathing life into subwoofers worldwide. Raised on 90’s hip-hop and nourished by old school rave, Slater cultivated his love for music and combined his influences to birth his own style of musical production. Emerging as one of the most notable up and coming electro and heavy bass producers, he was noticed and taken under the wing of fellow Brooklynite label, Trouble & Bass. With a notorious musical family behind him, 10 years behind the decks, and an arsenal of tracks, Slater is set to take on the world. He continues to display his excellent DJing skills from all over Europe to the UK, up to Canada, down to Mexico and everywhere in between leaving a trail of pumping adrenaline and wobbly speakers behind him. Satoshi Tomiie is Japan’s most successful International DJ and House producer. Since his seminal hit “Tears” back in 1989, Satoshi Tomiie has gone on to become a major part of the acclaimed Def Mix crew and a staple in dance music. Although Satoshi’s beginnings were based on his musicianship as a classically trained musician, he used his talents in the early years of his career to write, program and produce some of the biggest classic house records of our time. Satoshi also has remixed and worked with the likes of Photek, Kosheen, Simply Red, David Bowie, U2 and Mariah Carey, to name a few. In recent years it has been all about DJing for Satoshi. This Japanese New Yorker has been virtually everywhere you can think of. He only spins in his home city of Tokyo every six months or so; the rest of the time he’s traveling, using the Big Apple as a second home which also serves as a handy midpoint between Asia, South America and Europe. Bottom line.. Get ready for a night you will never forget!

Her DJ talents soon got recognition, Samantha Ronson has credit of DJying major events for top notch celebrities and events including but not limited to Jessica Simpsons Birthday Party, MTV’s Video Music Awards at Miami, ElleGirl Prom, IFC Awards, Play station at the Super Bowl and Sundance. One of her most memorable performances was in 2001 at MTV New Year’s Eve show held at MTV’s Studio at Times Square, New York.

Urb Magazine decribes skylab2000 live performances as “incredible” and”fantastic”.” Dave Dresden [Gabriel & Dresden] calls the Rollergirl single is “the bomb of all bombs.“ In the UK, Pete Tong of BBC Radio One chose the Auburn single as an “Essential Selection“.
These are just a tiny sample of the compliments collected on the long road skylab2000 has traveled.
Superstar DJs such as Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Taylor, John Kelly, and Keoki play skylab20000 tracks. Many releases are on top selling CDs – on great labels such as Moonshine, Koch, Journeys by DJ, Phatt Phunk, 3am Records, Brainiak, City of Angels, Genesis Project, Metronix, and Starshagger.

For over a decade, skylab2000 has been traveling city to city playing LIVE for some the best audiences in the world – in places as far away as Russia, Japan, Istanbul, Hong Kong, Montreal, Puerto Rico, Vancouver, and Mexico. In the USA, skylab2000 has played hundred of live shows in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Austin, Denver, Miami, Memphis, Nashville, Detroit, Las Vegas, Alaska, Seattle and many, many more!
